Description: Targeted to undergraduates and graduates interested in improving the mentoring experience. We’ll present information on best practices and skillful approaches to actively engaging the mentorship relationship, emphasizing communication and listening skills. Materials are based on Jo Handelsman’s course, “Entering Mentoring,” and the mentoring activities at UC Santa Cruz.
