Description: The best predictor for retaining underrepresented minority students in STEM careers, as indicated by current research, is identity-building. Participants will learn about current research and participate in a guided workshop to explore how the SACNAS community can support self-efficacy development using tools such as near-peer mentoring in our home institutions.
