Introversion and extroversion are variables that define behaviors and personality traits that make a person unique. Extroversion is defined by Jung as the individual characteristic “of conciliatory nature”, it can relate without problems and adventures without difficulties and confident of unknown situations (Hergenhahn, 2003). Introversion is defined Jung as the characteristics of a person with slow, reflexive and close nature, that avoid the contact with other persons and acts defensive (Hergenhahn, 2003). Following the birth order Adler states that every child is treated differently and the way they’re treated influences that indivual’s vision of the world and with that his goals and life style. “Myers-Briggs Type Inventory® Form M (MBTI)” with 21 items measuring aspects of Introversion and Extroversion according to Carl Jung TheoryThe sample consisted in 100 students from University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, 63.5% females; 36.5 % males from first to fifth year of study with an age mean of 20.79 (sd = 2.56).  In the test of "Chi-Square." significance value of 0.21 which compared with an alpha of 0.05, meaning that is larger so there is no relationship between variables.  During the research a new variable who was called as no preference  came up to identify those participants who didn’t inclined to any of the sides of the (MBTI) scale, therefore it was unable to identify them as introvert or extrovert. This new variable provided data that made no significant relationship between the introversion and extroversion variables and the birth order among brothers.
