Chair:
Yolanda Vasquez, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow, Harvard University

Description: Complex questions in biology often come down to understanding the microenvironment of cells and tissues. The chemical and mechanical environment can significantly affect cellular function. This session focuses on methods, materials, and technologies that address how to observe, and study cells in microenvironments and inspire functional materials based these microenvironments.
