Chair:
Javier Rojo, PhD, Professor, Rice University

Description: The theory and applications of random matrices permeate areas such statistics, electrical engineering, and computer science. This session will illustrate the tools that random matrices contribute to the handling of large dimensional problems. Examples from the biomedical sciences and engineering will be used as illustrations.
