Description: Materials Research Science & Engineering Centers (MRSECs) allow large multidisciplinary teams of university-based researchers to undertake cutting-edge materials research of a scope and complexity that would not be feasible under traditional funding of individual research projects. This symposium will illustrate the value-added of interdisciplinary researchers for students and researchers.
