Description: Mathematical modeling is the process of describing, explaining and predicting the world around us. This session addresses recent research in teaching mathematical modeling in secondary and postsecondary levels, and mathematical modeling within scientific investigations. The presentations highlight common elements of mathematical modeling from the classroom to scientific research.
