Description: Partnerships between mathematicians and mathematics educators are creating new work in teacher preparation based on the 2012 recommendations of the Conference Board of the Mathematical Sciences. We discuss successful collaborations; initiating partnerships at undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels; understanding each partner’s role; and sustaining the partnership through professionalism.
