The Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC) provides a variety of services to the international space science community.  The CCMC hosts and provided access to more than 80 state of the art, space weather models that cover regions from the Sun, all throughout the Heliosphere, all the way to the Earth's magnetosphere and Ionosphere.  One of the primary goals of the CCMC is to facilitate and support the transition of models from research to operations, so all of the models hosted at CCMC undergo a comprehensive evaluation and validation.   The CCMC also supports space science education, scientific research, and space weather forecasting through the CCMC’s Space Weather Research Center (SWRC) activity.    In this presentation we will highlight the many assets and tools available through the CCMC, and how some of the models are used for researching and understanding the dynamics of how the solar wind interacts with the Earth's magnetosphere.   We will also focus on how models hosted at the CCMC are used in forecasting the space environment
