Applications of Optics and Computer Vision Solutions to Engineering and Scientific Problems - How Do We Integrate Multidisciplinary Knowledge and Skills?

Saturday, October 31, 2015: 10:45 AM-12:15 PM
Chesapeake 8 (Gaylord National Resort And Convention Center)
Chair:
Mehrube Mehrubeoglu, PhD, Associate Professor, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

Description: Research on multiple disciplines involving optics, cameras, and image processing algorithms will be discussed. Hyperspectral imaging, thermal imaging, and visible scans will be shown for problems in science and engineering. Algorithms developed for image processing in biometrics for forensics, and sensor data for unmanned aerial systems will be shared.

Sponsored by: TAMUCC (already a Bronze Sponsor of SACNAS National Conference)
