Alejandra Alvarado, PhD, Assistant Professor, Purdue University and Edray Goins, PhD, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Purdue University

Description: Gauss once said, "Mathematics is the queen of the sciences and number theory is the queen of mathematics." Number theory is one of the oldest branches of pure mathematics, and has been studied since ancient times. The speakers will discuss their most recent work in this old but endearing field.
