Description: Examples of exciting new discoveries in nuclear and particle physics are presented, including the possible discovery of the Higgs, evidence for a fourth neutrino, and a new understanding of the quark and gluon structure of the nucleon. How these discoveries alter our fundamental understanding of nature will be stressed.
